Asiavoila made the choice to register its trading company, Alchemia, on the Free Trade Zone of Shanghai Pudong, Waigaoqiao.
This allows us to monitor inventories on behalf of our foreign partners, with choice of both bonded and non-bonded warehousing status.
Goods kept in Shanghai Waigaoqiao under bonded status can be imported into the domestic market at anytime, can be exported (regional Asian markets, Europe, Americas) and can also be transferred under bonded status to factories within China for process and transformation (Process Trade Import).

Monitoring of bonded inventories :
Shanghai has a strategic location as an excellent gateway into China and a suitable platform for regional distribution with Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan easy to reach and the rest of Asia-Pacific just further away.
We experienced many types of situation where using Shanghai as a regional logistic platform is the right solution. To give Just two examples :
　　　 You need to have goods available for prompt delivery in China when order is confirmed. But
　　　　 you do not want to take the risk of clearing the goods through the China customs ahead of
　　　　 order confirmation. Keeping the goods temporary in the bonded warehouse is the right
　　　　 choice.
　　　 You purchase in China under Import & Process Trade mode and wish to keep the inventory
　　　　 of finished product under bonded status so that you keep the flexibility of allocation to China
　　　　 domestic market (then only you clear through Chinese customs) or to export market.

Import & Process trade :
You have material or components being sent to China for processing (transformation, assembly, integration,…). Then, all or part of them are re-exported (Europe, US or regional Asian markets).
Asiavoila can handle on your behalf the management of these materials/components in exemption of import duties : The Chinese processing factory shall collect the materials/components from us as per the needs of each batch of production and return us the finished products.
The balance inventory can remain under bonded status, waiting for allocation to next process job.
